GLPAA Day at the Ballpark on April 30

The GLPAA invites anyone to attend the Day at the Ballpark event on April 30 at 1:00pm at Jim Patterson Stadium to see the Louisville Cardinals take on the Georgetown Hoyas. The event is free, and the group will be meeting in the left field bleachers. The terrace area is fan and child friendly, it includes concessions, stands, grass terrace and playground. No RSVP necessary, just show up and have fun.

Day at the Downs Date Set

This year's Greater Louisville Pike Alumni Association Day at the Downs will be held Saturday, June 18 at Churchill Downs. The event includes 2 Jockey Club Suites, open bar, racing program and lunch for the meager price of $50 per person. Future Alumni Association Event Planned

Also at the recent monthly GLPAA meeting, a future Louisville Baseball Game Alumni event was planned. The game that the association plans on attending is on April 2 against West Virginia at Jim Patterson Stadium in Louisville, Ky. It will be a great chance to catch a baseball game between 2 nationally ranked collegiate baseball teams, as well as an opportunity to spend time with Pike brothers. Founders' Day Date Set

At the recent monthly meeting of the GLPAA, while conversing with active members of the KZ chapter, the date of March 5th was selected for Founders' Day. The place and details of the event have yet to be determined. Stay tuned for more information regarding the event. Hope to see all of you there.
